Assalam-u-alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Baraktuh Shaykh
Regarding time of intention to fast, I remember this was explained by you in the course, but I still have questions about some of the things that I did not understand.
For a fardh fast (that is during the month of Ramadan), if I prayed taraweehs at night and before sleeping, I had intention to fast for the next day, but on the next day, if I wake up late and time for azan for Fajr has passed, will my fast be valid for that day?
As you told in the lecture, I understand that we can decide to fast, during the day, for a nafl fast.
(Clarify me on these, if I'm wrong) Is it true that: 1. Qada is a type of fardh fast and does not have conditions such as those of nafl fasts. 2. Qada fast does not have a day fixed. It can be done on any day that suits us. (except disliked days)
Do we have to pray taraweehs for a Qada fast?
As Qada fast can be moved to any day we like, if I pray taraweehs at any night and decide to do a Qada fast on the next day:
1. Is it then compulsory for me to fast on the next day? 2. If before sleeping I intend not to do so, and leave it for any other day in the future, is it ok? 3. If I sleep with the intention, and in the morning before Fajr, I intend not to do the Qada fast on that day? 4. If I sleep with the intention, and in the morning, if I wake up late after Fajr azan is passed, and then intend not do the Qada fast on that day, is it alright, or will it be a sin for breaking a fardh fast?
