ASAK Sheikh,

If the eid prayers are performed in a mosque, do we still do the tahhiyatul-masjid salah or not as the sunnah is to not do any prayer before or after eid prayer ?

Yes, there are no sunnah etc before or after Eid prayer that are related to he Eid prayer.

But if you happened to pray the eid prayer in a masjid, then do pray tahiyatul masjid because that is related to the masjid and not to the Eid prayer.   We've been informed that there are no Sunnah related to Eid but we were not prohibited from any prayer before or after Eid that is related to something else.

So praying tahiyatul masjid in a masjid, even before Eid salat, is fine and recommended for entering masjid.
