Assalamu alaikum

Marriage is not prohibited in the month of Ramadan.

Yes, it is halal and permissible in the month of Ramadan.

Some people dislike marriage in Ramadan because the newly weds may be keen on their passions and this may lead them to break their compuslory fast in Ramadan.  For that fear, it is good if they did delay the wedding to after Ramadan.  However, if they did marry in Ramadan there is not disliking and no karaahiyah so long as one can control their passions, Allah knows best.  But if a young soon to be married couple set out on marriage in Ramadan and have realistic fears of breaking fast due to uncontrollable passions, then for them yes it will be disliked to marry in Ramadan and Allah knows best.

Wassalamu alaikum
